“Salute (Ed-Ward)” is a standout Deep House track by South African producers Aquadeep and Veesoul. It features as the third track on their Dark Side EP, which was officially released on September 4, 2026 under the AV Sounds label.

Running at 5 minutes and 39 seconds, the song uses an extended intro and outro. This gives DJs ample time to seamlessly beatmatch and transition during sets. Produced in the key of F# minor, it blends easily with other deep, atmospheric electronic tracks sharing similar harmonic properties.

The track serves as a focal point of their Dark Side EP, showcasing the collaborative synergy between Aquadeep and Veesoul as they push a more reserved, -forward deep house aesthetic.

The song brings together Aquadeep’s sharp lyricism, rhythmic delivery, and clever wordplay with Veesoul’s gritty street-rap presence. Their contrasting styles give the record a strong lyrical character, creating a meeting point between established Hip-Hop energy and a more contemporary rap approach.

“Salute (Ed-Ward)” carries the feel of a statement record, with the title itself pointing toward a message directed at critics and doubters. Rather than holding back, the rappers use their verses to assert their position within the competitive music scene and make it clear that their experience and presence still command attention.

The production keeps the focus on the vocals and bars, allowing both artists to showcase their individual strengths. For listeners who appreciate lyric-driven Hip-Hop, the collaboration offers a straightforward rap experience built around confidence, wordplay, and streetwise delivery.
