About The Artists

Aluta Soul: Born Aluta Dyasopu on March 17, 1992, she is a singer, songwriter, and performer originally from Motherwell, Gqeberha, South Africa. She discovered her songwriting capabilities in 2008 and got her foot into the dance music industry through collaborations with Point 5 and Heavy-K (on his acclaimed Respect The Drumboss 2013 album).

She writes music intended to “heal people and spread hope”. In late 2025, she dropped her breakthrough EP, Uthando Ne Thongo, followed by impactful 2026 singles like “Hlabelela” and “Abonondaba”. She provides the main composition and lead vocals on “Idinga”.

Blaqnick & MasterBlaq: This highly sought-after Amapiano production and DJ duo consists of Pretoria-born brothers Nicolas Maluka (Blaqnick) and Sandile Maluka (MasterBlaq). Signed to their imprint Blaqwav Entertainment, they are famous family collaborators. Nicholas (“The Black Superman”) drives their unique, signature beats and melodies, while Sandile developed an ear for multiple genres from a very young age.

They are SA Amapiano Award winners widely known for massive cross-over hits like “Khuza Gogo” and “The Whistling Man”, and have actively collaborated with international tastemakers like Major League DJz.

Melo_T1: Tshepo Mosito (performing as Melo_T1) joins the lineup as a collaborative featured vocalist and songwriter on the single. His contribution helps bridge the heavy rhythmic production of Blaqnick & MasterBlaq with the hymn-based architecture of Aluta’s vision.
